Every Knee Shall Bow

Bible Matters 516: Knee Shall Bow

This is lesson 516 in this ministry.  5 is the number of grace, favor.  16 is the number for love.

When you seek God’s grace, humble yourself to the Lord thy God and out of love, you drop to your knees and bow to the Lord thy God.  Do not be deceived by man’s religion and bow to false gods.  Give the creator of heaven and earth all the glory that God is due.  There is but one true God who deserves all the glory.

Psalm 95:6-8 KJV
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

The preponderance of evidence of the witnesses’ testimonies is clear.  God deserves all the glory.  Not his creation or the prophets, but to God alone.

Ephesians 3:14 – For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Do not be confused, when a witness gives a word salad testimony and mixes Jesus’s name into a verse where you are to give God the glory.  Jesus delivered God’s gospel of Love and for that the Jews took his life.  Jesus laid down his life to deliver God’s gospel.  Recognize this sacrifice and bow a knee to God, alone.

Philippians 2:10 – That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

The Jews were waiting for an earthly king, to restore the power of the Israelites, much like David had done.  David was the king of the Jews. So, when Pilate stated that Jesus was the king of the Jews, the Jews mocked the title and bowed to Jesus.  Not as a false god, but as an earthly king.

Matthew 27:29 – And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

Mark 15:18-20 – And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!  And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.  And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.

Do not live your life by worshipping false gods or by bowing a knee to Jesus per this one-off verse.

Romans 14:10-11 – But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Jesus will not judge you when you arrive to heaven.  The testimonies of the witnesses in this ministry make it clear that you will be judged by God.  God made it clear from the testimonies of the witnesses and prophets that you will be judged by the one true God, the Lord God. You will be judged by your service, living God’s gospel of Love.  (Matthew 7:21; Luke 18:13; Acts 17:30-31; Hebrews 13:3; 1 Corinthians 5:13; Romans 1:32; Romans 2:2,3,5,6,10; Romans 3:4,6; Romans 3:18-19; Psalm 43:1; Ecclesiastes 3:17; 2 Thessalonians 1:5; 1 Peter 4:17; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 1:15; Revelation 14:7; Revelation 16:7,9; Revelations 20:12)

Ecclesiastes 3:17 – I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

1 Peter 4:17 – For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Revelation 14:7 – Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

The apostle Thomas captured Jesus’s testimony perfectly.  You are to worship the one true God.

Saying 15: Worship – Jesus said, “When you see the one who wasn’t born of a woman, fall down on your face and worship that person. That’s your Father.

To God be the glory in all you do, Amen.
